Kids Classes

At Michael's Store located at West Kendall Center I teach for kids:

• Fun Fondant Cupcakes
• Super Cakes
• Gingerbread Houses

All of them are one sesion of two hour Project Class. Each month the decoration theme is different. See SCHEDULES for details.

Decorations for Fun Fondant Cupcakes are made of fondant. Students should bring their cupcakes. You will receive a supply list from the store when you register for class. For informational purpose only click here if you want to know what to bring to class. Items can change in some classes.

Super Cakes are decorated mainly with buttercream. Students should bring their cake. You will receive a supply list from the store when you register for class. For informational purpose only click here if you want to know what to bring to class. Items can change in some classes.

Family workshops are also offered. The Gingerbread House is an example. You buy the kit at the store. You build and decorate the house in class. You will receive a supply list from the store when you register for class.

Classes are for ages 8 to 14. It is recomended that students under 10 be accompanied by an adult to help assist them in class.

I also teach a special course " Mommy & Me". It is a Course 1 Decorating Basics for kids and their Mom or any other family member. You will discover together the world of cake decorating in a 4 class course.
